Pablo Picasso

Art is a collaboration between God and the artist, and the less the artist does the better.
Andre Gide

  1. Darcy and Elizabeth by the piano is my new favorite, closely seconded by the second sunset one.

I love the quote about abstract art. It is nice to know that Chesterton does not like it. For some reason I always believed that I did not have enough knowledge to grasp the "beauty" of abstract art. It is good to have common sense when it comes to these things.
Lately I've noticed that true beauty and truth can be seen by anyone. In fact, the truly beautiful can be recognized by the most uneducated person in the world.

  2. Senioritis getting to you, huh?
